Brief History

There’s a famous temple of Adivas’s Kuldevi Yah Mogi Devmogra Mata. Devmogra temple is located in the base of Satpuda hills.

Every year, from the day to Mahashivratri to 5 subsequent days, a fair is organized in Devmogra. On the day of Mahashivratri, the locals organize an event in which they take Devmogra Mata to a place called Gadh, 1 km from Devmogra.

Gadh is a ghat and the water never evaporates throughout the year. Locals pour water falling from the natural waterfall onto Yah Mogi Mata and then they get back Mata to Dev Mogra.

Huge crowd from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat attend the fair.
